I’m sorry to say it, but the Earth would prefer only 1 billion of us to live here. Just like you know when you’ve overeaten, or gotten too much sun, or worked too hard, the Earth knows when it’s ecosystems have move too far out of balance.
The planet is not an inert mass with various ecosystems living on it. The Earth possesses a consciousness that oversees the functionality of all its systems. These systems do not operate independently. They get direction and work in concert. There is a decision-making force that continually appraises the condition of survival and optimal operation.
The human race, with its activities, popped up on the Earth’s radar about 10,000 years ago. At that point, a portion of the human race decided to not be in communication with the planet. From that point forward, Earth has been watching and tolerating. It’s let some areas stay barren. It’s decided not to clean up other areas. Much like a mother not cleaning up after the child as a way of saying, “Hey, look at the mess you are making.”
The green movement is a good idea. It will influence the timeline, and the method Earth will use to trim the population. The habitability of the Earth will be of interest to those who are left. Which means it’s of interest to all of us. So, the green movement is a good idea.
Earth needs to know we are going to be good stewards of its ecosystems again. Right now we are not. Not enough of us anyway. Not nearly enough.
About the timeline -- its concept of time is difficult for me to grasp. So pinning down a timetable wasn’t possible. But, what was clear is that Earth can and has responded immediately to an individual’s personal communication with it.
I know this seems alarmist. It was just a calm conversation with the planet. I don’t always know how these Reads turn out, which is why I do them. [ Back ] |
